Job Title: Maintenance Plan AdvisorDescriptionThis is a fixed hourly rate of $83.51 per hour, inclusive of 25% casual loading.The initial contract duration is from ASAP until June 30, 2026, with a commitment to work for 36.25 hours per week.We are seeking four (4) experienced Maintenance Plan Advisors for an initial 17-month contract with the Department of Education.As a Maintenance Plan Advisor, you will be required to work in remote locations and travel on small planes with minimal seating capacity.Minimum office work will be four days a week, with flexible arrangements available for one day upon manager approval.Your key responsibilities will include:Providing quality advice and consultancy services to schools, senior management, and staff on facilities planning, investment, and portfolio operations.Interacting with other resource management specialists to deliver high-quality services.Providing client-focused facilities services and advice to staff in schools, regional centers, and educational centers.Coordinating with regional facilities teams, Infrastructure Services Division, and external service providers.Collaborating with staff across regional facilities teams and agencies to provide comprehensive field-based facility support services.Preparing ministerial responses, reports, and briefing materials.Adopting business practices and processes in accordance with division standards and direction.Managing and monitoring capital works, maintenance, and facilities services delivery.Advising senior officers on facilities planning and asset management issues.Conducting operational audits of physical assets.Participating in professional development programs for regional staff.The ideal candidate will possess:Attention to detail and understanding of building/built asset maintenance environments.Ability to identify inefficiencies, prioritize tasks logically, and communicate effectively with school staff.Good organizational and time management skills, proficiency in data analysis, and a Blue Card or ability to obtain.RequirementsTo apply, please submit your resume in Word Format using the provided link, quoting reference No. 242636.
