Our client is a global financial institution seeking a Dealers Assistant / CSM to join their Wealth Management/Stockbroking Department in their Adelaide Office to support an experienced private client adviser and their HNW clients.
Initial 12m contract with view to go permanent for good performance, and step into an Associate adviser role.
The role will be directly supporting private client advisers, liaising with their clients, placing equity trades on clients' behalf and providing further operational assistance to the team.
The ideal background will be someone with around circa 3+ years experience in equity markets operations / client services or preferably coming from another dealing assistant / adviser assistant role.
Responsibilities:
* Facilitation of all administrative client queries
* Client on-boarding, including preparation of account documentation, creation of client record.
* Arrange and assist with maintenance of client account and records, in line with current AML/CTF, KYC Regulations.
* Prioritise competing adviser requests in a fast-paced environment.
* Establish and maintain relationships with other internal stakeholders and departments.
* Participate in process development initiatives to increase efficiencies.
* Adhere to Company policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative requirements.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
* Recognised industry studies and/or tertiary degree.
* RG146 – if not held already, it is a requirement to study towards.
* Experience in a similar role within stockbroking, wealth management or financial planning required – CSM, Dealer assistant, Adviser assistant etc.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Strong literacy and numeracy abilities a must.
* Fundamental knowledge of the financial industry, including advice process, markets, and industry.
* High attention to detail and organisational skills.
* High level of resilience and strong prioritising and time management skills.
