Job Title: Store Assistant - Curtin School of NursingFaculty of Health SciencesPerth, Western AustraliaPermanent Part TimeA key role in the efficient operation of our new store facility is available in a part-time (0.5 FTE), continuing permanent opportunity.Key Responsibilities:Manage inventory effectively, conducting regular stock takes and assisting with the purchasing of consumables to maintain appropriate stock levels.Ensure that storage facilities are properly maintained, and that all delivered goods are checked, catalogued, and secured following University policies.Adhere to procurement procedures to obtain supplies at favourable prices, ensuring quality and timely availability.Comply with occupational health and safety requirements in storage practices and perform minor repairs on equipment as needed, along with any other relevant tasks.Requirements:Educational Background: Completion of Year 12 and relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and practical experience.Technical Skills: Proven ability to perform minor repairs on a variety of equipment, demonstrating hands-on problem-solving capabilities.Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
