Work closely with executive managers to influence decision-making and enhance financial performance.Role OverviewAs the Finance Business Partner, you will report directly to the Finance Manager. You will lead budgeting processes, analyse financial results, and develop reports that support strategic objectives. This role involves engaging with key stakeholders to promote effective budget management and provide insights into financial impacts of legislative changes.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and review of budgets, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and strategic objectives.Collate, analyse, and present monthly financial performance data to budget holders and executive managers.Provide expert financial advice to support effective budget management and decision-making.Monitor portfolio budget performance and propose remedial actions to address any variances.Assist in the preparation of Quarterly Financial Reports (QFR) and Aged Care Financial Reports (ACFR).Develop and maintain ad hoc financial reports to meet the reporting needs of assigned portfolios.Interpret financial impacts of legislative and economic changes, providing solutions to stakeholders.Promote a culture of financial accountability and empower budget holders in managing their resources.Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for budgeting systems and processes.Engage with key stakeholders across all levels to foster collaboration and ensure transparency in financial performance discussions.Candidate ProfileAs an ideal candidate for this role, you will hold a degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, with CA/CPA accreditation preferred. You should demonstrate strong financial analytical skills and have a proactive approach to customer service.
