We provide individualised and tailored care and support to people living with disabilities. We offer a wide range of support, services and programs to our participants and their families which includes:Community AccessSupported Independent LivingThe opportunity is for a casual position working a flexible roster including weekends and overnight supports with progression into a permanent position for the right candidate.Experience is preferred but not essential - You will have access to on-the-job training and a variety of Origin tools and resources.About the opportunity:As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and care to all our participants both in their home and out in the community. Support Workers will assist them with their day-to-day activities while encouraging their independence and respecting their choice and control.Reporting to the service delivery managers, you will be responsible for:Assisting our participants with day-to-day activitiesBuilding relationships with our participantsSupporting our participants with appointmentsProviding support in SIL homesProviding community access to our participantsGeneral duties such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, food preparation, etc.Recording detailed incident reports and case notesEnsuring the participants' needs are being met, paying particular focus to the goals outlined in NDIS Care plansAbout You:To be a successful applicant you must have the following:NDIS Worker screeningOwn reliable vehicle & valid insuranceDriver's licenceFull working rights in AUSDesirable but not essential:Certificate III in individual supportExperience with high-intensity supportsAboriginal & Torres Strait individuals are encouraged to apply- Annual pay review based on performance- Varied work- Employee benefits- A chance to make a real difference in the lives of those living with a disability
