About Monash Mental Health Program The Monash Health Mental Health Program provides inpatient and community-based care to people of any age with a mental illness and those with alcohol or other drugs issues. The Program operates as a number of clinical units including three adult units (Casey, Dandenong and Clayton), an Older Adult Service, a Perinatal and Women's Mental Health Service, an Early in Life Mental Health Service (comprising infant, child, and adolescent services), Psychology and Specialist Services (PsySS), and Drug & Alcohol service. About Wellness and Recovery Centre - Inpatient, Day Program and Outpatient Eating Disorder Service To ensure Monash Health has a consistent integrated model of care for all clients with eating disorders, irrespective of age or when they present within the lifecycle of the illness, substantial development has occurred within the service over recent years. This includes the Butterfly Intensive Day Program for clients aged between 12-24 years, and an adult outpatient assessment and treatment centre (Wellness and Recovery Centre). Patients requiring hospitalisation are admitted to a medical ward and receive an integrated medical-psychiatric model of care. This range of services ensures that Monash Health offers an integrated continuum of care with the most appropriate care for the need. About the Role This is a 0.4 Consultant Psychiatrist role (14hrs per week) in an eating disorders inpatient service consisting of 4 beds based at Dandenong Hospital. The eating disorders service includes outpatients, day program and inpatient service.
