THE ROLE Manager Care Services Operations Support provides service system oversight and stewardship of the Out of Home Care Services system. The position provides leadership and support across North Care Services Operations unit to implement service improvements and efficiencies in service planning and resource allocation to ensure consistent and quality service delivery. The position is responsible for a range of functions including Kinship Engagement, Flexible Packages, Capital and Placement & Support Planning. The successful applicant will be a leader capable of working flexibly in a dynamic environment, a great communicator with excellent relationship building skills and be experienced in managing service coordination to achieve key outcomes within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE Strategically design and develop the delivery of departmental objectives that impact significant localised service delivery and meet statewide departmental and government objectives and community expectations. Maintain an understanding of issues impacting the department's clients and investigate and lead critical projects that develop and review policies, professional standards and operating practices that enhance service delivery, budget effectiveness, efficiency and improved client outcomes.
