Reporting to the Administration Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of administrative services providing exceptional customer service to all patients, their carers, other external clients, as well as your colleagues.Hours Available:Mon 1.30pm-8.30pmTues 1.30pm-8.30pmThurs 2.00pm-6.00pmFri 12.00pm-8.30pmKey Responsibilities:Welcoming patients, collecting and entering personal detailsScheduling appointmentsAnswering telephone calls and responding to enquiriesSetting up consulting roomsEntering and processing patient billing (Private Health and Medicare)Monitoring and assessing the administration care path of all patientsMaintaining and managing patient informationSupporting Icon's WHS Officers and committees to effectively carry out their responsibilitiesModelling and promoting Icon's vision and values.Skills & Experience:Experience in a similar secretary role desirable (specialist setting)Experience with Medicare, DVA and Private Health InsuranceExcellent organisational and time management skillsAbility to communicate with clarity both verbally (face-to-face and telephone) and writtenAbility to use computer systems – competence required in Word and ExcelDelivery of excellent client service (to internal and/or external clients)Possessing basic knowledge of medical terminologyIcon Group is Australia's largest integrated provider of cancer care with a growing reach in New Zealand, Asia and the United Kingdom.Icon is built on a strong but simple mission - to deliver the best care possible to as many people as possible, as close to home as possible.
