Continued growth and diversification has led to this new position and the creation of this new Underground division with a national footprint.The RoleReporting to the General Manager and as part of the senior management team, you will be an experienced, self-starting mining professional with some previous experience in setting up business units/divisions in the mining industry. You will be responsible for:Successfully leading and managing the establishment of this new division;Completing a market analysis on current Australian underground top-hole consumables and therefore developing a market strategy;Develop and drive sales growth;Source and develop a team to deliver the sales growth;Establish, build and maintain strong customer relationships;Manage the supply chain logistics for the division, forecast, order, and manage inventory;Overall P&L for the division.RequirementsThe successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar position, having some knowledge of the underground drilling business would be preferred, however it is not essential. A strong Mining/Underground network of contacts is desirable.
