YOUR ROLE As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of statutory and regulatory reporting within IAG, including end-to-end ownership of IAG's Payment Times Reporting Compliance. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for overseeing, enhancing, and refining financial reporting and insights, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and relevant reports and governance mechanisms within Financial Reporting at IAG.This will involve leading and managing the delivery of statutory and regulatory reporting, continuously reviewing and improving governance processes, ensuring compliance with reporting regulations, and promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence within the financial reporting team. In addition to overseeing the enhancement and governance of financial reporting at IAG, this role will also be tasked with the preparation of year-end analytics and the project management of annual and half-year reporting. This is a permanent opportunity based in either Sydney or Melbourne. ABOUT YOU Proven track record in financial governance, with a strong understanding of statutory and regulatory reporting frameworks. Significant experience in leading financial reporting projects and coordinating month-end processes. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex regulations into actionable governance processes. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communicator, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Proficient in financial systems and Microsoft Excel. Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance. Professional accreditation (CA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent). Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
