Enjoy a vibrant work atmosphere that fosters collaboration and innovation, with easy access to local amenities and transport links.Key Responsibilities:Bid Strategy Development: Formulate and implement effective bid strategies that align with client requirements and enhance McConnell Dowell's competitive positioning.Governance Oversight: Ensure all pre-contract activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and governance standards.Bid Preparation & Management: Oversee all aspects of bid preparation and management, ensuring that submissions are timely, comprehensive, and meet client expectations.Client Engagement: Act as the primary liaison with clients during the pre-contract phase, building strong relationships and addressing any inquiries or concerns.Resource Oversight: Manage and optimise pre-contract resources to ensure full utilisation and efficiency in the bidding process.Commercial Oversight: Evaluate bids to ensure compliance with McConnell Dowell's risk profile and commercial goals, mitigating potential risks.Successful candidate will have:Proven experience in pre-contract management or a similar role in a Construction environment, with a strong client-facing component.Excellent understanding of commercial principles, risk management, and tendering processes.Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Sciences, Project Management, or Construction Management.About UsMcConnell Dowell – Creative ConstructionOur purpose is Providing a Better Life.
