About the role Reporting to the QLD Maintenance Manager and based at GrainCorp's Gladstone/Mackay/Emerald offices; the Maintenance Planner is responsible for: Working with production to develop and maintain the maintenance schedule for QLD country operations Planning materials, resources, equipment and contractors for planned preventative and shutdown maintenance works Consulting with operations supervisors / leaders on preventative maintenance activities and equipment servicing Partnering with maintenance supervisors to schedule manpower and resources effectively Develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work Maintaining up-keep and accuracy of technical information and equipment maintenance history Continually improving planning, scheduling, purchasing, stores, data management and job reporting systems About your experience Our ideal candidate has experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within any industry with preference for those with multi-site experience.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, prioritisation and planning skills are a must in this position.
You should also have: Planning experience in CMMS (SAP desirable) Strong asset management background in materials handling/fixed plant/mobile plant Awareness and understanding of budget constraints Ability to work effectively under pressure Ability to apply complex problem solving and critical thinking techniques
