Given our continued growth, we have an attractive opportunity for an Engineer to join our team.The Role GDC is looking for a qualified Engineer to undertake forensic assessment inspections, working across Australia. The role involves the inspection of different building structures and infrastructure of varying ages and sizes with a range of defects and structural conditions. This exposure to residential construction methodologies provides great career development and promotes a well rounded engineering foundation of knowledge.The role is supported by GDC's Senior Engineers with access to a wide range of technical resources and support. GDC Engineers have an extensive library of existing forensic reports which are available to facilitate learning and compliance with client requirements.When not on site, we are pleased to offer the option to work from home for this position, providing our employees with greater flexibility and a comfortable work-life balance.What is Forensic Engineering Forensic engineering is a branch of engineering that deals with the investigation of failures, defects, or malfunctions in engineering systems.
