Reporting to the General Manager Major Projects Office, you'll lead a small team of Quality Management specialists to ensure that the division establishes and maintains certification to ISO9001 Qualify Management Systems.
You'll work collaboratively with senior leaders across the organisation to maintain quality across all project disciplines, ensure the consistent application of robust quality management systems across all major projects and that Quality Assurance standards are incorporated into significant commercial agreements for Construction works.
Additionally, you'll drive cross-functional collaboration for IT system integration, support project teams in Quality Control practices and Assurance, and coach and mentor leaders to drive continuous improvement.
The people you'll join: Based in our Bowen Hills office you'll report to the General Manager Major Projects Office, the team responsible for ensuring the success of our major projects through effective governance and assurance - unleashing our strategic objective to become a leading developer, safely delivering complex and significant CAPEX projects over the next decade.
This team has established a dynamic culture of innovation and excellence, where each member's unique expertise is further enhanced by a focus on collaboration and team delivery, ultimately leading to the collective success in mastering mega projects.
What you'll bring: You'll hold degree-level qualifications in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline with additional tertiary qualifications in Quality Management including the establishment and management of Quality Management Systems.
You will demonstrate significant professional success in quality management across large-scale projects, including an in-depth understanding of contractual and commercial interfaces related to Quality Management requirements in a project environment, as well as a thorough knowledge of relevant project, program, and portfolio management standards.
You'll have proven capability in leading large diverse teams in complex, matrix organisations in the delivery of major infrastructure projects.
You'll enjoy engaging with peers and Senior Leaders across the business to enable change management, ensure "best-for-business" outcomes, innovative processes and procedures are established and continuous improvements are adopted.
