The OpportunityWe are looking for a dynamic Contracts/Procurement Manager to spearhead strategic negotiations, drive cost-saving initiatives, and optimize supplier performance across multiple sites. As a key player reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will be at the heart of supplier relationships, delivering value through innovative procurement techniques. What's in it for you?Though it is a 9-month fixed maternity leave cover contract, this is your chance to leave a lasting impact at Kinrise. You'll influence key procurement decisions, contribute to the growth of the Procurement team, and drive change across our sites. Based in either Melbourne or Sydney, with occasional travel between both cities, you'll play an active role in driving key procurement activities and making a meaningful impact. The successful candidate will commence the role after the Christmas and New Year break, with a thorough handover provided to ensure a smooth transition and success over the next 9 months. How you will make a difference: Implement the procurement strategy for the sourcing and category management of the indirects category. Lead contract negotiations and supplier management, driving substantial cost reductions for the indirects category. Manage supplier relationships, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and performance evaluation. Collaborate with key stakeholders to align procurement activities with product and business needs and manage policies. Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for cost savings, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation. Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, systems, and policies. What you'll bring to Kinrise: A Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, along with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. Proven success managing significant supplier spend and driving impactful procurement outcomes. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across internal and external stakeholders and collaborate effectively to drive and influence outcomes. Strong understanding of supply chain processes, manufacturing environments, and market dynamics. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization. The ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-moving consumer goods environment.
