Are you a passionate and dedicated Exercise Physiologist looking to make a difference in your clients' lives? Mid-North Coast Allied Health is seeking a dynamic professional to join our multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based exercise interventions to help our clients achieve their health and fitness goals.
Responsibilities: Build relationships with local referrers, including GP's, personal trainers, sporting teams and specialists. Provide a holistic approach to client care. Demonstrate a commitment to improving your knowledge and clinical skills. Conduct thorough assessments of clients to develop and implement tailored exercise programs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care, ensuring optimal client outcomes. Educate clients on the benefits of exercise in managing chronic conditions, rehabilitation, and overall health improvement. Monitor and adjust exercise programs based on client progress and feedback. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in line with clinic protocols. Participate in team meetings, continuing professional development, and community outreach activities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology (or equivalent) and accreditation with ESSA. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A proactive approach to continuous learning and professional development. Experience in clinical exercise prescription and the management of chronic conditions is highly desirable.
