Lead is senior technical leadership role, responsible for an entire technical domain, leading the development of both our internal and customer-facing iOS applications across the Airline as well as the people management responsibilities for engineers within that domain.Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of our products along with managerial and strategic planning within the iOS and wider mobile space.Mentor and guide teams of skilled mobile developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.As the iOS Technical Lead you will oversee the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that our employees and customers rely on.You will work closely with product managers, designers, your peers from other platforms and other stakeholders to define technical requirements, influence and champion implementation consistency and deliver features that align with business goals.You will use your deep understanding of Swift and other relevant mobile application technologies to architect and implement scalable mobile solutions.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, continually integrating new ideas and best practices to enhance our mobile applications.Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring the stability and reliability of our applications.You'll have: Experience in Technical Leadership of large mobile teams and projects.Demonstrable ability to motivate self and others within large and complex environments.Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to lead and influence technical strategy across the domain for iOS Experience and interest in building and extending tooling and processes to improve developer productivity, delivery and consistency throughout the mobile teams.Strong demonstrated technical experience in Mobile application delivery challenges and strategies across large teams and user base.Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical requirements effectively to the business and across multidisciplinary teams.Strong ability to forge and reinforce strong software engineering principles and best practices.Proven experience in working closely with back-end teams to develop, deploy, troubleshoot, and test, ensuring compatibility and ease of use from mobile.Confidence in applying patterns, techniques and approaches that ensure high-quality, highly flexible software.The ability to balance technical and communication skills and adjust to your audience.Attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.An approachable attitude to educate, mentor and influence the team.Demonstrated commercial skills in Swift, SwiftUI, SPM.Familiarity with concepts such as Server-Driven UI, Design Systems, modern mobile architecture patterns and enterprise distribution is a bonus.Why Qantas?If you're successful in
