About the Role
We are seeking a part-time nurse to join our Private Radiology nursing team in Warrnambool. As a Medical Imaging Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-standard nursing care for both inpatients and outpatients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures. This role offers a diverse and interesting range of patient presentations as you service both private hospital and community-based clinics.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide pre, peri, and post-examination care for patients undergoing General X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Fluoroscopy.
* Be a key team member in this specialized environment.
About You
* You must be currently registered with APHRA.
* You should have a strong patient-centered care approach with the ability to effectively build patient relationships.
* Cannulation qualification is required; training support will be provided to achieve this outcome.
* You should possess strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
* You must be able to respond effectively in emergency situations.
* You should be able to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
