Inthis role, you will develop a wide range of practical business skills including financial analytics, negotiations, managing difficult situations, and team leadership.As aSenior Consultant orManagerin ourBRS team, your impact will be seen by:Preparing and/or reviewing financial analysis alongside drafting reports and presentations, including (where appropriate) use of data & analytics to underpin your findingsDay to day management of businesses under external administration and/or asset recovery processes, including identifying and mitigating risks associated with restructuring and insolvency engagementsDealing with a wide range of stakeholders in distressed situations, from financiers, to employees, to government agencies, suppliers, customers, and moreMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practicesContributing to our collaborative team culture through to deliver positive outcomes for our clients, both on projects and more broadlyBringing your unique skills and interests to improve outcomes for our clients, people, and practice. This will include the ability to deal with the wide range of stakeholders that are found in distressed situations.RequirementsIdeally three year's (or five years for Managers) experience in an insolvency and restructuring environmentYou will have a solid grasp of Australian insolvency law and processes, appropriate to your years of experienceYou will have experience in financial analysis and investigations across different types of engagements and are practical in applying this to real world situationsGood time management, delegation and team communication skills will hold you in good stead for this dynamic environment.Team player with a positive "can do" attitude to challenges who is able to work under pressure across multiple engagements.Strong Microsoft Office skills coupled with excellent analytical and written communication skills are a must,A basic understanding and enthusiasm towards using data, analytics and visualisation tools, eg PowerBI and Alteryx is desirable.You will have, or be working towards, your Chartered Accountanting qualification.You are committed to enhancing your professional development, including in specialist insolvency qualifications.It's time to move forward.
