About the Role: As a Project Engineer, you will work closely with the Engineering and Design Manager to lead key project design elements, ensuring project success from concept to execution. You'll coordinate design activities, review work against relevant standards, and communicate with key stakeholders across construction, management, and external teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop thorough project designs and review documentation (tender drawings, specifications, reports) Plan and coordinate design activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives Collaborate with construction teams to ensure design elements are fully integrated Manage subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes Perform design calculations, 3D modeling, and drafting using Revit Represent the company in design meetings and ensure seamless communication with all involved parties Conduct safety analysis and attend client workshops to ensure project compliance Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering (recognized by Engineers Australia), working towards NER/Chartered Status 5+ years of experience on commercial or light industrial projects Proficient in relevant software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Relux, PowerCAD, etc.) Strong understanding of Australian Standards and NCC requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills About Ignite: Ignite is a leading Australian recruitment and technology solutions provider with over 40 years of experience.
