The Reservations Agent Group Bookings role reports directly to the Guest Services Manager and will be the voice and point of contact for our guests. This role will suit someone with the ability to deliver world class customer service that creates a memorable and thrilling guest experience. A few of your responsibilities: Answer inbound telephone calls for transactions ranging from call transfers and basic information inquiries to complex hotel, dining, spa, event and entertainment reservations. Provide guests with a clear picture of The Star Entertainment Group’s products and service offerings keeping the customer’s needs and wants in mind. Organise and coordinate Group Reservation elements including room drops, group arrivals, early check-ins, late check-outs, in-room amenities and upgrades. Ensure that guest requests for reservations and other services are met and confirmed and that each guest experience is memorable and positive. Complete handovers with the Front Office team prior to client arrivals and VIP guests. What we are looking for: A passion for guest excellence and a desire to go above and beyond to ensure a positive customer experience. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Knowledge of property management/reservations systems (i.e., Opera). Prior experience in group reservations within a hotel on-site environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. By using systems and knowledge you will provide outstanding customer service via a seamless accommodation booking experience for clients and delegates.
