Customer correspondence – discussing with customers technical and commercial issues for new and on-going projectsCollaborating with the design, engineering and other groups to develop project solutionsDevelop project timing and detailed quotationsRelease and co-ordination of projects for manufactureEnsuring customer requirements, quality and project timing is being met with projects progressing through manufactureWorking closely with procurement and suppliers to source unique project materials or servicesProduct development and improving engineering processesLeverage product knowledge and technical understanding to assist with new sales opportunitiesFailure analysis and review of existing products to develop improvements where possibleYour Skills and Experience Previous experience in a similar role ideally including exposure to Aerospace and OR defence industries. Mechanical Engineering qualifications and experienceProven manufacturing experienceBe a problem solver Advanced level computer skillsExperience managing design processes and competent use of CAD for component or project review.Excellent technical customer service skills with strong commercial acumen.Motivation, drive and dedication.
