Hazelbrook, New South Wales 2779, Australia • Part-time
Description
Connect Children and Families (Connect) is a not-for-profit organisation serving communities in the Blue Mountains, Lithgow, Hawkesbury, and Western Sydney.
Together we support children's and families' learning, safety, and wellbeing.
We do this through supporting families to access services that respond to their needs, creating pathways both across our services, and to other community agencies that can support them.
Our services are available to children and families in their homes, in early childhood education centres and pre-schools, in community spaces and schools, and in other family-centered services.
As part of our portfolio, Hazelwood Early Childhood Centre has a strong reputation for their commitment to partnering with families, recognising the privilege it is to be trusted with the education and care of a family’s greatest treasure, their children. Hazelwood ECC is located in Hazelbrook town centre, only a 30-minute drive from Penrith. Our centres are surrounded by the beautiful Blue Mountains scenery while still being close enough to the city.
We have a highly rewarding opportunity for a part-time Early Childhood Educator (Cert III trained) to join our dedicated team, working with families to navigate the early stages of their little one’s life. This role is for 16-24 hours per week to be commenced as soon as possible.
As a valued and dedicated Cert III Educator, we are committed to providing you with the resources and support you need to excel in your role and make a positive impact on our children. We support career progression and will provide opportunities for this, including coaching and mentoring support, particularly from our educational leader.
A dynamic role that focuses on the circle of security model means children lead their day in an unstructured manner. You will promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development whilst working closely with other team members to provide a holistic and inclusive learning experience for all children in your care.
Responsibilities include:
* Work in partnership with families
