Podiatrist (Mixed Caseload) | Contractor RoleContractor role with flexible hours available As a Podiatrist, you will be responsible for providing our clients with high-quality assessments and treatment and improving patient outcomes by implementing the best evidence-based practice at one of our Residential Aged Care facilities in Smithfield. This is a flexible role with contractor opportunities. Generous remuneration provided dependent on experience.We can provide an Aged Care focused caseload attending to Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs) in the West, Southwest, and East Sydney. To supplement the Aged Care caseload, we can provide clients from our Homecare/NDIS referral base with settings including the clients' home and group homes.All administration related to claims are processed by our internal staff.Equipment providedRequirements Current AHPRA RegistrationValid Police CheckValid driver's license and own reliable vehicleDuties and Responsibilities Aged Care/NDIS/Homecare experience beneficialFamiliarity with Medicare and CDM claimsWork autonomously and lead a podiatrist program within multiple aged care facilities.Responsible for liaising with residents, families, doctors, and other allied health professionals.Improve the quality of life of aged care residents by delivering evidence-based treatment.Participation in lower limb wound management of residents.Review and evaluate client therapy plans to ensure goals are achieved.Maintain current knowledge of contemporary podiatry techniques and healthcare issues, and ensure all clinical practice is in accordance with the relevant legislative requirements, professional code of ethics, professional code of conduct, and available evidence.Assess, plan and implement appropriate intervention to clients with diabetes, including those with active foot complications requiring pressure care and wound management.For further information and a detailed discussion please contact us on. #J-18808-Ljbffr
