The Role: Engineering Manager, Test Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 Super Location : Melbourne Responsibilities Oversee and manage transformer testing operations to ensure adherence to technical standards and customer specifications. Drive compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and maintain laboratory accreditation. Investigate and report test failures, ensuring continuous improvement in processes. Develop and maintain laboratory systems, including equipment validation and environmental suitability. Lead a skilled team, fostering safety, integrity, and operational excellence. Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain robust customer relationships and meet production goals. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal obligations. Key Skills Degree or postgraduate qualification in Electrical Engineering. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in transformer design or testing functions. In-depth knowledge of Australian and international technical standards for transformers. Proven leadership experience within technical or engineering teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation processes. Industry experience with transformer manufacturing and testing. Why This Role?
