About the Role
The Senior Clinical Psychologist will provide a range of high quality psychological interventions to adult consumers and carers of the service including psychological assessment, specialist therapeutic interventions, secondary consultation, and supervision of junior staff, students and peers within a multidisciplinary, integrated team framework providing a recovery-focused Strengths Model of care.
Classifications for this position will range from PL1 - PL4 ($108,279 - $123,905 per annum pro rata). Your Contribution Completion of an APAC approved degree in Clinical Psychology at a Master's or Doctorate levelRegistration as a psychologist under the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Practice endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist under AHPRARecognised supervisor of Clinical Psychology Registrars and postgraduate Clinical Psychology students under AHPRA.Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain/ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain (Select which is applicable)

St.Vincent's Mental Health (SVMH) includes an adult area mental health service for the inner city areas of Yarra and Boroondara.The adult mental health service components are: The Footbridge Community Care Unit (CCU), the 44 bed Acute Inpatient Service (AIS) located on the St. Vincent's Hospital site, the North Fitzroy PARC and two community mental health services (CMHS) at Hawthorn and East Melbourne (Clarendon CMHS).
