This role will see you enhance your capabilities and the reputation of WSP's Mine Waste team. You will collaborate with talented professionals working on iconic projects to drive future-ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver a program of projects for key clients through management of key stakeholders and contractors.
* Manage work programs to deliver engineering services with respect to mine waste management.
* Support multiple concurrent projects across the entire life cycle, including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling and risk management.
* Lead the design of tailings storage facilities and other earthen structures, from conceptual through to delivery stages.
* Delegation of components project tasks.
* Plan and direct field investigations and other tasks to meet project requirements.
* Develop connections nationally and internationally.
* Provide regular client contact and proposals through project meetings and business development initiatives.
* Prepare regular update reports for clients.
* Mentor junior personnel.
* Prepare and deliver technical reports on time.
About You:
We are looking for individuals with a Bachelor degree in Civil/Mining Engineering or project management qualifications who possess proven project management experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary project teams.
