Senior A-Class Electrician - Power Systems Division
Cavpower is seeking a qualified Senior A-Class Electrician to join our team of CAT specialists in our Power Systems Division, located at Wingfield.
About the Role
This senior position involves working unsupervised and extended hours in a field or workshop environment, providing exposure to unique CAT equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with generator control systems, switchboard installations, and power generation projects.
* Complete electrical diagnosis and repair
* Turn-key power generation projects
* Routine maintenance on generator assembly systems
* Loading testing for industrial and marine engines
* Control systems installations and maintenance
Requirements:
* A-Class Electrical qualification
* Demonstrated experience with generator control systems (Comap, Woodward, Caterpillar controls)
* PLC programming skills
* Dual Trade with Electrical/Instrumentation qualification (an advantage)
* Supervisory experience of a small team
* Experience with solar or renewable energy (preferred)
* Valid Driver's License
* Good customer service, technical diagnostic, organisational, and time management skills
