We are seeking a talented and driven Marketing Engagement Coordinator (CX & Content) to join our dynamic team at Curtin University.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the future student journey by creating and implementing high-quality, user-centric content and personalised nurture campaigns.
Working under the guidance of the Manager, Marketing Engagement (CX & Conversion) and Project Lead, Digital Experience, you'll support driving the digital deliverables for Phase 2 of the Advancing Admissions Project.
In Phase 1, this project introduced a new applicant portal and system integrations to simplify Curtin's application process.
Your focus will be on further enhancing this process, delivering a seamless, user-centric experience from application to admission.
You'll collaborate with University Marketing teams, Admissions, Future Student Enquiry teams and more to ensure all communications support action, whilst aligning with Curtin's brand tone and style.
By working with subject matter experts, you'll create content that bridges business needs and user expectations, ensuring accessibility for all audiences.
Co-located between the project team and the Marketing Engagement Team, you'll ensure alignment across the entire student journey, creating impactful content that engages prospective students at every touchpoint.
We are looking for someone with strong UX writing skills, as well as familiarity with digital tools such as marketing automation platforms like Marketo.

Key duties and responsibilities include: Develop audience-focused lead nurturing journeys: Craft personalised and dynamic email campaigns using data analytics to enhance the prospective student experience at Curtin University.
Coordinate content production: Oversee the end-to-end development and delivery of content across digital touchpoints, ensuring alignment with Curtin's brand tone of voice.
Collaborate with university stakeholders: Work closely with teams within University Marketing and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and support for prospective students throughout their application journey.
Ensure engaging and accessible content: Create content that is not only engaging but also meets global accessibility standards, enhancing the user experience across all digital touchpoints.
Monitor performance and trends: Analyse engagement metrics and stay updated on industry trends to continuously improve recruitment strategies and meet the evolving needs of potential students.
We are looking for someone with: A degree in marketing, communications or another relevant field with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in marketing and communications; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Demonstrated understanding of direct marketing, lead generation, nurture and conversion principles.
Proven ability to become proficient with Marketing Automation and digital engagement platforms.
Demonstrated understanding of user experience (UX/UI) and content design principles.
Skilled writing and editing expertise, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling content for diverse audiences and contexts.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
Demonstrated time management and organisational skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines, using initiative when deviations from planned goal are necessary.
Experience in Marketo, Salesforce or alternative marketing automation software, along with knowledge and/or delivery of Sales Training (Desirable).
Experience working in a university or higher education environment (Desirable).
Work Requirements: Must have current work rights in Australia matching the tenure of the role.
Based in Perth, WA or have confirmed plans to relocate.
