Maintenance Electrician, Queensland Health Provide trade services and advice to the Asset & Maintenance team and other appropriate personnel on issues relating to electric/electronic services within scope of qualifications including assisting in the preparation of quotations and reports where and when required. Efficiently organise, prioritise and complete allocated maintenance tasks including ensuring availability of materials, meeting deadlines and ensuring that required standards are met. This includes the provision of maintenance and compliance certificates where required. Key competencies (role specific criteria) Experience and knowledge working within an Asset & Maintenance environment specialising in electrical fields relating to plant, equipment and buildings in a production environment. Ability to prioritise all manner of works (preventative, corrective, capital & emergency), projects, timeframes, stock control/levels and ability to obtain quotes while making responsible and accurate recommendations and produce an effective work output in terms of both quality and quantity without supervision. Ability to work effectively and safely as a member of a team or individually, and experience liaising with service contractors and interacting, communicating and negotiating effectively with all manner of stakeholders at all levels. Ability to effectively investigate problems, provide options and implement suitable solutions utilising skill sets obtained through trade qualifications. Computer skills in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and using a Maintenance Management System and associated applications). Ability to complete and obtain certificates of competency for all relevant/required training courses the business requires you to hold during employment. Provide and participate in on-call rosters and complete out of hours works where required. Carry out other delegated duties to support effective operations as directed.
