We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a high level of autonomy and attention to detail.
This is a full-time position based in our Burswood Head Office.
Responsibilities
* Process end to end payroll on a weekly basis for up to 500 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timeliness.
* Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
* Prepare and submit payroll reports.
* Answer payroll related queries from staff.
* Preparation and payment of superannuation, WorkCover and other payroll related deductions.
* Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
* Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.
Selection Criteria
* Minimum 2 years experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role.
* Proficiency in payroll software (experience with NetSuite/Zone&Co highly regarded).
* In-depth knowledge of payroll processes and relevant legal regulations.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Experience using a range of Microsoft Office products.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
