Make an impact at Serco
As a Mower Operator, you will play an essential role in maintaining turf and lawn areas to the standards required by the City of Melbourne. This is a hands-on role where you will ensure that public spaces are well-maintained, safe, and visually appealing. You'll operate horticultural machinery and equipment, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of work.
As a Mower Operator in the Turf Management team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
* Performing mowing and brush-cutting duties as per contract specifications
* Conducting routine maintenance of equipment and reporting any defects
* Removing rubbish and preparing areas prior to mowing
* Keeping accurate records of labour, materials, and equipment usage
* Contributing to operational efficiency by identifying areas for improvement
