We are seeking a motivated, experienced Team Leader with knowledge in Genie software, Medicare and private health fund (eclipse) billing to strengthen existing processes and relationships between our practice, specialists and patients in the clinic.
As Team Leader at St John of God Healthcare Langmore Centre, you will be an integral member of the consulting clinic team, acting as the key point of contact for health professionals, team members and patients to ensure the smooth running of our services.
As Team Leader, you will be well presented with extensive experience in team leading within a medical/healthcare environment.
The role requires a high standard of administrative support to specialists, ensuring the team display a high level of customer service to specialists and their patients, and support to the Consulting Suites Manager.
The Position Fulltime, Monday to Friday 76 hours per fortnight with varying shifts between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
Engage with patients and the team to ensure a welcoming service, smooth service provision and accurate billing.
Provide leadership and foster a team culture of collaboration through effective communication, and interpersonal capabilities.
Supervise Consulting Suites administration staff to ensure all key duties are correctly undertaken.
Book and schedule appointments and maintain an accurate record of patients seen.
Participate in the documentation of Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures for activities that could pose an OHS risk.
You will have a high level of efficiency in multi-tasking, and familiar with medical terminology.
Your confidence and communication skills will be essential in building relationships with the general public, patients, doctors, fellow team members and hospital management.
To be successful, you will have initiative in creating improvements, demonstrate reliability, have confidence in leading the team and able to work without supervision.
