The integrated end-to-end rural solutions package also provides customers with the benefits of utilising Lindsay Transport’s refrigerated fleet to deliver rural supplies to farms and transporting fresh produce direct to major east coast markets.The Role:We are seeking a Delivery Driver / Storeperson to join our Lindsay Rural team in Gatton for local delivery work.Local drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods and the loading, unloading and load restraint of merchandise.Your main responsibilities will include:Deliver and unload merchandise to rural worksites.Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company merchandise.Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork including the use of in-vehicle technology.Interacting with customers in a professional manner.Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.In-store counter sales as required.General Warehouse duties and manual handling of goods.About you: The candidates we are looking for will have:A current unrestricted manual MR Licence - an HR licence is highly regarded but MR suitable.A current forklift licence essential.Knowledge of & experience with load restraint and mass requirements.Knowledge of & experience with the use of manual pallet jacks.Have a commitment to workplace health and safety.Be well presented, professional and reliable.Be reliable and punctual with good communication skills.Have a strong customer focus.Good computer skills.Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test.Provide a current traffic print out.Experience in a rural worksite or engaging with rural clients is highly regarded.Lindsay Australia operates with a culture of honesty and openness.If you’re successful in joining us, you’ll be joining a team where creativity, diversity and innovation are encouraged.
