About the opportunity:
Position: Clinical Educator (Psychology)
Vacancy: Fixed term temporary part-time, up to 0.80fte, until 30/11/2025, with the possibility of extension, up to 12 months.
Location: Department of Psychology, Townsville University Hospital

* Salary range: $64.64 to $69.55 p.h. (HP4)
* Annual leave with 17.5% loading

The Clinical Educator (Psychology) will support and enhance the provision of the clinical supervision, education and training which is already provided in health services for students and new graduates. This position will lead capacity building of staff and students of psychology. They will engage in supervising, teaching and training of students and early career psychologists.

Requirements:
* The successful applicant must possess a four year degree in Psychology (Honours, Graduate Diploma) from an accredited tertiary institution. Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia is required. Possession of a Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited tertiary institution, or significant progress towards this, would be highly regarded.
* Applicants must possess general registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* The possession of an accredited postgraduate qualification in clinical psychology and/or Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
* Must possess accreditation as Board Approved Supervisor with the Psychology Board or be able to quickly acquire accreditation.
* Possession of class C drivers' licence.
* This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
* Probation period may apply.
* Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.
