We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead a dedicated team of trades, drive reliability improvements, and champion safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a Monday – Friday position working with the day shift team. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this hands-on leadership role will see you: Lead and support a team of fitters, boilermakers, and kiln car maintainers (8 direct reports) Drive daily maintenance operations to maximise plant uptime and equipment reliability Manage contractors, spare parts procurement, and compliance with WHSE standards Contribute to planning, scheduling, and execution of major shutdowns and project work Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement What We're Looking For You're a strong and supportive leader with a passion for getting the best from your team. Mechanical trade qualifications (fitter, boilermaker, etc.) – engineering degree highly regarded Previous experience in a maintenance leadership role, ideally within heavy industry or manufacturing Strong technical understanding of rotating equipment and mechanical systems Experience with CMMS systems (SAP preferred ), planning/scheduling, and contractor management A proactive, safety-first mindset with solid fault-finding and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively Why Join CSR?
