Join our team as a Contract Project Manager for this project, where you will play a crucial part in the team. Leading from the front and supporting a high preforming team, as well as the critical supporting infrastructure for enhancing critical systems. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and deploying implementation and a project delivery capability across two significant projects. This includes development and implementation, managing vendors, SMEs, project professionals who are contracted to undertake project requirements across the business. You will lead, develop, implement and manage the delivery frameworks and ensure the successful execution. You will be dynamic culturally inclusive leader who is individual experienced with the wide span of project delivery, with specific proficiency in systems engineering to comply with the civil aviation safety regulations. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Provide the vision and leadership to a team who will be responsible for the systems upgrade and delivery as well as the operational support. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation related to system requirements, testing, and implementation processes Manage the industry standards, safety and operating procedures for activities to implement engineering operations end-to-end. Oversee and manage budget and performance targets, including the promotion of an efficient and cost-conscious culture across Project Delivery. Drive implementation of enterprise governance systems and policies, including safety, environmental, WHS, risk and compliance. Support the roadmap development for the tools, processes and techniques that will be required for the oversight and management of the project. Skills and Experienced Required: A degree in Engineering in Systems Engineering and or Project Management in Systems Engineering. A sound understanding of and demonstrated experience applying Systems Engineering practices and system management processes. Extensive experience in managing the delivery of technical solutions within a project construct, including adherence to time, cost and quality constraints. Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and work as a senior member of a dynamic team, including ability to work under limited direction to achieve positive outcomes Strong documentation skills with experience in preparing and reviewing solution architecture documents and system design documents, including alignment to strategies and existing initiatives Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence, build trust, shape conversations, and change behaviours through effective relationship Demonstrated experience in stakeholder and vendor management This is a truly impressive contract project role and opportunity, we are offering the right candidate the support of the working in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne with working from home flexibility.
