About the companyOur client is a privately owned tractor dealer group with a number of Agricultural equipment dealerships throughout regional South Australia.This company boasts an enviable range of leading farm machinery/equipment brands and can offer stable employment, a great company culture and an opportunity to learn from the best!About the roleDue to company expansion, we are currently looking to speak with experienced mechanics and Workshop managers, who are keen to lead the service operations of this high functioning dealership. This role will report to the Service Manager and be responsible for managing the schedules, training and workload of the mechanics. It is a great next step in a technician's career.You will be joining a team and support network that will assist you in achieving your goals.Ideally you will have:Proven experience in a similar role, supervising a team, leading hand, senior mechanic, etc.Strong mechanical knowledge of Agricultural, Trucks and/or Industrial equipment, cars, etc.Experience mentoring, leading and helping teams to meet KPIsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDevotion to customer satisfaction and service requirementsWhilst not essential, previous exposure to Agricultural and Farming Machinery in a retail or wholesale environment would be advantageous (but not essential) for this position. Candidates who have experience with brands such as John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Claas, Kubota, Deutz or similar are strongly encouraged to apply.An excellent remuneration package, comprising of a healthy base salary of around $120,000 (negotiable) plus incentive scheme will be offered to the successful candidate, along with a company car, laptop and phone. Relocation assistance will also be discussed with the successful applicant if this is required.
