Full Time ongoing role Opportunity to work under Melbourne’s iconic Spire Great central location close to public transport About the role The Procurement and Inventory function sits under the Customer Experience pillar and is responsible for the effective management and operation of procurement, stock control, inventory processes, Hospitality systems and compliance of all procurement related activity at Arts Centre Melbourne including the Theatres building, Hamer Hall and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Reporting into the Director, Customer Experience, the Manager Procurement and Inventory will also ensure the smooth operation of accounts and tender management, continuous improvement of systems and programs, and ensure to build exceptional relationships across internal and external stakeholders. About you Driven, energetic and fun Relevant professional qualification in Procurement, supply chain management or logistics or similar discipline. Extensive experience in procurement, warehouse and inventory management (within a hospitality environment will be highly regarded) Demonstrated exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills Excellent written and communication skills Proven experience in managing a small team Full-Time fixed term position to November 2024. Band 4.2.13 Salary $105,682.00 p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation. Your qualifications and experience Demonstrated procurement experience within a Public Sector or Public Service environment is desirable. Experience of operating in compliance with the frameworks of the Victorian Government Purchasing Board (VGPB) would be highly desirable. Developed knowledge of food wholesale market and commercial cooking resource requirements Very capable computer skills, with solid experience in using stock management and purchasing software Experience in point of sale and stocktake software Experience in the use of finance software for ordering and receiving for a medium to large food and beverage organisation Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a dynamic set of stakeholders to drive transformation and change. Experience in the assessment and application of risk management practices to achieve strong probity outcomes and maintain organisational integrity.
