About The Role: The Valuer will be responsible for producing high-quality building replacement cost reports for insurance purposes.
This is an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise, as Asset Inspect provides coverage across a broad range of properties and occupations, including industrial, commercial, residential strata, hospitality venues, EPS cold stores, warehouses and factories, high net worth residences, farms, wineries, and many more.
To be successful in this role, you will be someone who enjoys being on the road full-time and has a strong desire and ability to travel regularly, both regionally and interstate.
You will be well-supported by our dedicated Head Office admin team, who works closely with you to manage your workload, including appointment schedules and client communications, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality reports.
Key Responsibilities: Carry out inspections of commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.Document building construction materials.Measure building size in square metres.Photograph the buildings, including drone imagery (where permitted).Calculate the replacement cost of buildings for insurance purposes.Provide a building replacement cost report.Essential Requirements & Qualities: You are a member of API, with CPV status.Diploma / Degree / Tertiary qualification in either Valuation, Property, Estimating, Development, Construction, or related building studies.You thrive on extensive travel and are comfortable with regular trips to regional and interstate locations.You're a confident communicator with strong writing skills, able to produce clear, concise, technically accurate reports.You are IT-proficient and willing to learn and adapt to new software.You can think on your feet, assess situations and implement effective solutions.You enjoy building relationships with clients to consistently deliver high-quality client experiences.You can work independently while also being a team player.You are highly-organised and have attention to detail.You are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or have permanent residency status.You hold a valid Australian driver's license.You can successfully pass a National Police Check.Apply Now: Think you've got what it takes to make a mark with Asset Inspect?
