About the Role: As the TPPP Clinical Midwife Facilitator, you will provide comprehensive support to our team, including graduate nurses and midwives, through in-person and virtual engagements.You will lead reflective, evidence-based practice improvements, fostering a culture of experience sharing and problem-solving.Your responsibilities will include: Guiding and developing less experienced staff while maintaining accountability for your own practice standards.Collaborating with Nurse Educators, Midwifery Unit Managers, and Nurse Managers to enhance clinical education services.Managing a portfolio focused on clinical education while continuing to deliver high-quality, predominantly clinical care. What We're Looking For: Registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.Minimum of 3 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience.Proven leadership in guiding student nurses/midwives, enrolled nurses/midwives, and less experienced registered nurses/midwives.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation abilities.Capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritize workload with minimal supervision.Creative and flexible approach to clinical challenges.Familiarity with relevant legislation, standards, and quality improvement systems in healthcare.Understanding of contemporary nursing/midwifery and health care issues.
