About the Role:
Join our team as an Associate Midwife Manager on a part time basis in an ongoing capacity to work within the Maternity Team at MMC.
Our leadership team are currently looking to role model and mentor Midwives that are looking to grow their career down a leadership pathway. They love coming to work everyday to be able to ensure that our women are receiving safe, women centred care across the full scope of maternity care. You’ll enjoy the variety and challenges that comes from working with likeminded skilled senior staff and clinical mentors, while being supported by others across the program and across our large, complex health service.
As a Registered Midwife, you have been able to work across a full scope of practice, a minimum of two and are now ready to take the next step in your career as a Leader.
This is an ongoing opportunity to grow your career in a leadership position, working across a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and Night Duty

Our team delivers exceptional, compassionate care to expectant mothers, offering a comprehensive range of services from routine pregnancies to high-risk conditions. The Maternity Ward fosters a multidisciplinary environment and our dedicated team of experienced midwives, Obstetric Registrars, and Consultants collaboratively provide specialized family-centered care. We are committed to the well-being of both mothers and babies, providing personalized, high-quality care throughout the entire journey of pregnancy.
About You:
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
* You have a positive attitude and you enjoy being at work with likeminded midwives. You share this passion with your women to support them through what should be the most joyful experience in their family life.
* You have proven experience working in an Acute Maternity service and have demonstrated leadership skills and knowledge across a minimum of two of the following areas antenatal, post natal and birth suite.
* You are driven and value consistent quality improvement across the service and bring with you, some creative ideas and passion to implement across the service.
* FSEP level 3 certification
* Demonstrated midwifery experience.
