About the role The role of Credit Data Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the continuing monitoring and reporting of Credit Risk activities as they relate to Lending and providing insights to the business regarding performance, risks, and opportunities by extracting data in real time. Primary Responsibilities will include: Reporting into the Senior Manager – Lending Operations; providing requested reports using SQL and creating dashboards using Power Bi Report on operational credit policies and procedures to achieve the Credit Risk Management objectives and recommend improvements where necessary Reviewing and recommending controls, processes and reporting for all facets of credit risk and for the entire credit life - cycle, whilst remaining competitive and compliant with APRA, ASIC & licensing requirements Review Risk Appetite Statement and provide recommendations where risks are identified or where risk appetite is not being taken advantage of, including retention and discharge activity Reviewing loan application performance and highlighting areas of improvement and opportunity within the Bank’s risk appetite including SLA and conversion reporting Providing analysis and insights on portfolio movements including early identification and management of problem exposures Serving as a reference point to Lending Operations on Credit Risk and operational issues to assist in the development of employees responsible for making credit decisions in taking advantage of the credit policy for mutual benefit Skills required: Excellent communication skills Strong time management skills with ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively SQL and Query Writing skills Previous experience creating dashboards with Power Bi Advanced Excel skills What is it like to work with us?
