Description About the role Brisbane Girls Grammar School seeks a highly motivated and experienced Systems & Network Administrator. The Systems & Network Administrator plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity, performance, and security of the School's IT infrastructure. This position involves managing and maintaining the physical and virtual servers, overseeing cloud infrastructure and services, and implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions. The Systems & Network Administrator possesses professional and technical expertise related to servers and cloud-based IT software and programs. Skills And Experiences The Systems & Network Administrator will have: qualifications in a computer-related discipline (Diploma of Information Technology - Advanced Networking or higher, or demonstrated equivalent work experience) relevant network, server and/or cybersecurity certificates are highly regarded proven knowledge and working experience with managing network and server environments and hardware infrastructure, including troubleshooting, data backups and recovery, security management, system monitoring, maintenance and upgrades, and setting up user access Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or equivalent certification or experience identity management and secure authentication experience (Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune and Citrix Virtual Desktop) the ability to acquire and maintain a Positive Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
