NLC is looking to recruit for the Ranger Coordinator located in Numbulwar.The position is responsible for working closely with CFC Program staff, to ensure that the integration of Traditional Owner insights and WH&S standards are at the forefront of all land and sea management activities.Based at the Numbulwar Ranger Station, this role leads and supervises the Numbulwar Ranger team to implement their on-country work program and will be required to conduct in-depth consultations with Traditional Owners (TOs) to understand and prioritise their interests and goals for the South East Arnhem Land Indigenous Protected area.This Coordinator role is hands-on and expected to lead, coordinate and monitor the Ranger group's operational service outcomes and performance in accordance with Numbulwar ranger operational plans and NLC requirements.It also has a diverse array of key responsibilities and accountabilities across other key functions such as: Stakeholder Relationships Staff Management Work Health and Safety What You Will Bring: You will bring strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, coupled with high-level interpersonal and cross-cultural communication abilities.Your problem-solving expertise, experience in dispute resolution, and community liaison will be essential, along with your demonstrated experience in asset management and basic maintenance of equipment.In addition to this, you will have: Minimum Certificate IV in Conservation and Land Management or another relevant field, or extensive relevant and equivalent experience.Minimum of two (2) years relevant supervisory experience leading a team.Previous experience in undertaking TO consultations in the development of land and sea management projects, ideally with Aboriginal people.Current C Class Drivers Licence.What's in it for you?
