About the role:
Adelaide Airport is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join their Planning & Infrastructure team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be accountable for the timely delivery of effective and efficient administrative and project support. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment, coordinating and supporting the Project Delivery team on various project activities.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Project Delivery team. Reporting to the Project Coordinator Lead, your main day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Providing effective administrative support, coordinating meetings, assisting in the development of project plans.
* Coordinating and setting up meetings, preparing agendas, minute taking, and action item management.
* Assisting in the development of project plans, programs, and milestones.
* Coordinating events and workshops as required.
* Purchase ordering and tracking of payments/cashflows.
* Assisting with the coordination and documentation of information received from external consultants and technical representatives both internally and externally.
* Ensuring effective and efficient administrative and general project support to the Project Delivery teams as required.
Skills and experience:
To be successful in this role, we are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a Project Coordinator/Administrative role. In addition, you will bring:
* Experience working within a regulated environment, particularly in the aviation industry, built environment, or similar would be an advantage.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
* Experience using database management systems and administrative systems.
* Sound knowledge of office procedures and systems.
* Solid experience in managing multiple activities in an operating environment.
