Our client is a global company that supply specialised equipment and allied services to the mining industry. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a highly experienced Account Manager to develop their Mill-Lining area at their Kalgoorlie branch. This is a rare and exciting opportunity that will require you to use your sales experience and technical aptitude to increase new business opportunities whilst servicing existing clients.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Manage and coordinate all sales, technical queries, business development and administration of key accounts
*Promotion of the company's products and services
*To increase sales through various direct and in-direct methods whilst at all times maintaining profit contributions
*Develop and maintain strong business relationships with all key stake-holders
*Develop marketing and sales strategies to target identified potential clients
*Provide statistical, development and sales reports to senior management
*Pro-actively negotiate long term contracts for various products and services, conduct regular client meetings and service reviews
*Working very closely with production planning, ensuring that all client requirements can be met within allocated timeframes
*Provide regular client contact and handle any technical issues or relevant queries
*Maintaining and developing the customer database, ensuring the accuracy of all information that is entered
*Work closely with the Branch Manager and assist in formulating new sales plans and objectives to ensure customer awareness of new products and services
Essential skills required:
*Proven experience in a Business Development/Account Manager role within the Mining sector
*Experience in direct selling & service of mill linings
*Good technical aptitude
*Client -driven with a strong business acumen
*Competent with MS Office applications including spread sheets
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Sound knowledge of workshop practices
*Professional attitude
*Excellent relationship building skills
*Articulate and excellent time management skills
*Prepared to reside in Kalgoorlie with own accommodation
*Current Driver's License
