Job Title: Accounts Assistant
The Accounts Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Accounts Manager and contributing to the efficiency of the accounts team.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier and customer information in Xero
* Collaborate with farm managers and COOs to ensure all expenses are properly tracked and accounted for
* Organise and file documents securely, ensuring easy access when needed
* Set up credit accounts with suppliers as required, facilitating smooth financial transactions
* Support the Accounts Manager with additional data entry tasks, ensuring seamless workflow
Accounts Payable/Receivable:
* Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and efficiently
* Reconcile statements from suppliers to prevent discrepancies
* Reconcile invoices with various farm management software platforms, ensuring consistency
Office Administration & Organisation:
* Provide administration support to the management team, including filing documents and preparing internal presentations
* Assist with organising company events, such as conferences and group training sessions
Requirements:
* Experience in bookkeeping and general office administration
* Excellent written communication skills for preparing correspondence
* Ability to meet payment deadlines and maintain accuracy
* Effective and professional communication skills
* A team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative
