Multiple Opportunities - Permanent Full Time, Part Time and Casual HS1 ($29.58 per hour) About the Role This role processes incoming, outgoing and internal telephone calls and ensures that calls are directed to the appropriate destination.
The role also manages the callingof emergency codes and management of alarms.
The role also includes an enquiries and reception function, providing in person assistance to patients, carers, staff and community .
Key Responsibilities: Process incoming, outgoing and internal telephone calls to the Ballarat Base Hospital switchboard and QE switchboard (after hours).
Manage the public announcement of emergency codes and assist the incident manager with communication.
Respond to in person enquiries from patients, carers, staff and community at the main Enquiries desk, providing directions and assistance as required.
Skills & Experience: Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast paced environment, prioritise tasks and manage challenging interactions in a calm, professional and compassionate manner A team player, able to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others in the team Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency in the use of a variety of computer applications Previous reception or clerical experience Requirement to work day, evening and weekend shifts The candidate must provide a comprehensive resume and a cover letter.
