IPA are currently looking for a Clinical Allocator based in Townsville to
1. Collaboratively manage the regional 'allocation queue' through liaison and consultation with Outreach Program Counsellors (OPCs) and Clinical Support staff through:
1. Daily oversight of the regional allocations queue
2. Review of intake assessments.
3. Liaison with either Client Assist or the client directly to obtain further information as appropriate.
4. Matching of clients to appropriate OPCs or In-Centre staff based on client need.
5. Escalating and prioritising clients in consultation with an Assistant Director or delegate.
6. Establishing and building positive relationships with regional OPCs
7. Contacting clients on the waiting list when required.
2. Contribute to the continuous quality improvement of our client's Program in the region through:
8. coordination and participation in the selection, orientation and resourcing of suitably qualified and experienced outreach counsellors in line with our client's policy
9. ensuring referrals are appropriate, timely, and accompanied by relevant written client and administrative documentation
10. applying quality assurance procedures to ensure all aspects of outreach counsellors' clinical practice, reporting and invoicing meet contractual requirements
11. providing information, debriefing and support to contracted OPCs as appropriate.
3. Develop, maintain, and manage a database of our client's contracted OPCs including keeping timely information on their availability.
4. Provide high quality clinical services which may include crisis support ( responding to walk in), counselling (maintain a small caseload of clients).
5. Maintain clinical records according to our client's standards session notes, reports.
6. Participate in compulsory learning and development activities.
7. Apply the principles of cooperative and safe work practices consistent with the APS Values and the our client's mission, vision, approach and values.
